SLIGHTLY VINTAGE
PROJECT ROLE: DESIGNER
Slightly Vintage in a vintage and repurposing store located in West Liberty, Iowa.
The owner buys, restores, and sells vintage items. The items she sells are upscale, but affordable. She wanted a new logo and new collateral to reflect these ideals.
The logo design is both modern and vintage by combining the use of straight, bold lines with more intricate and delicate lines. For imagery, a vintage stove is utilized as it a popular item amongst vintage lovers.
Slightly Vintage's storefront is white brick with a black and white striped awning. To establish a more cohesive brand, the black and white stripes are carried throughout the collateral. Black and white adds a timeless feel, and when printed on recycled brown paper, the concept of repurposing becomes more apparent.
I created a shopping bag, store tags, a postcard mailer with envelope, and a business card, letterhead, envelope set.
