I'm so glad you're here! Here's a bit about me.
I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts and my Master of Fine Arts (both in Graphic Design) from Iowa State University. I also have a Graduate Certificate in Human-Computer Interaction and a minor in Digital Media.
I'm currently a Digital Media Specialist for Indian Hills Community College. I also lecture for Iowa State University.
I'm always up for a freelance project or teaching engagement. Contact me!
My husband and I were both born and raised in Southeast Iowa. We bought land not far from where we grew up, put down roots, and welcomed our first tiny human in 2021.
My hobbies include macrame, furniture restoration, and all things DIY.
Fun Fact: I was born Alexandria (with an 'e'), but legally changed the spelling of my name to Alixandria (with an 'i').

PROJECT MANAGER
As a Project Manager, I work with clients to create marketing strategies that will help them meet their business goals. I coordinate meetings and organize content to keep my team on track and ensure progress is continually made. I am responsible for writing beginning project sales proposals, creating project outlines, and developing project completion reports. I am also responsible for monitoring time management and ensuring deliverable due dates are met.
As a Project Manager, I take pride in being an effective leader - ensuring the success and completion of every project and all of its deliverables.
POST-SECONDARY EDUCATOR
As a post-secondary educator, it is my duty to lead and educate hundreds of online students each term. I participate in university planning sessions and develop coursework that will challenge my students to become better and more effective designers.
I have a particular love for online learning and digital education. When possible, I love to allow individuals the opportunity to learn at their own pace, in their own environment.
My goal is to help mold innovative creative thinkers that will be able to tackle problems with creative solutions.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
I love creating awesome things - eye-catching posters, interactive catalogs, powerful websites, meaningful brands - and so much more. I love switching mediums and tackling diverse projects.
I firmly believe that design has the potential to spark communication and inspire change. I design because I want to be part of that movement.
Graphic Design is a constantly evolving field filled with new techniques and styles almost daily. As a Graphic Designer, I aim to never stop learning, growing, and expanding my understanding of my field as a creative thinker and creator.
